Let's get down to business...... Each  student needs to buckle down as an individual, and put an effort into your spiritual growth. Your relationship with Christ is different from mine...mine is different from Bro. Ken's......his is different from Bro. Gaylord's..etc....... The relationship each of us has with our Savior is personal, unique, and different from the next. The fact that we are all saved by grace, because Christ died for our sins, and we put our faith and trust in Him..is the only common thread!!!! We have to tend to our relationship, though. None of us can have a relationship with a peer....girlfriend, boyfriend, best friend, etc...without work. We have to put in certain things as individuals for that relationship to grow.

 

Communication is one  of the most important things we must have. Some of us can't go more than a day without talking to our best friend  .... girl friends....etc..... Yet we think it's acceptable to only pray on Sunday's or Wednesdays when we attend small group. Christ desires so much more....not too mention deserves more than we can ever give. Remember

 from the Gospel Journey...our best is not enough??? See? We already fail....and we haven't gotten started. But Christ loves us even still. What about getting to know someone? You spend as much time with that person of interest, that you can. Right? How much time have we spent even this week, getting to know Christ? Have we read His word? Or do we save that for when we meet in small group? Christ wants our best...He wants to be tight with each of us...TWO PEAS IN A POD, tight. He continues, without fail, to do His part...what about us?

 We found out Sunday night, just how much we are lacking. Would you agree? I have to do more, and so do you!! Let's make this our focus. We have so much going on around us in the coming weeks..and months, let us make strengthening our relationship with Christ as individuals, a priority!!!!! :)

We still have a lot of work to do with the skit. Keep "close order drill" locked in your mind. Labor of Love with be kicking in soon......so be prepared to lend a hand.

I'm proud of each student. I really am! Keep it up!!!!
